Turning your website into a hub for video communications has become easier to manage with the new mailVU widget. A recording application can be embedded right into your website with a small amount of HTML code. Videos are hosted by mailVU and streamed to the recipients. Once the widget is added to your website, your visitors can easily and freely record and send video messages. This list shows you the video email features, along with a description of what each feature does:

Feature: Record From Webcam
What it does: This feature allows the user to record a video mail directly from their webcam. After finishing the recording the user can play the message back prior to sending it.

Feature: Recording Time Limit
What it does: Record from webcam for up to 10 minutes.

Feature: Specify Self-Destruct Time Period
What it does: This feature allows the user to set a self destruct time of x days or x views.

Feature: Maximum Storage Time Per File
What it does: The maximum time is 365 days, and the minimum time is 1 Day (or 1 view). If the user has not selected a self destruct date the video mail will be auto-deleted in 30 days.

Feature: Send Video Mail
What it does: This feature allows the user to send their video mail to anyone they wish, with no attachments, no cut and paste, and no extra effort required. Multiple video email addresses are separated with commas.

Feature: Copy Self and Read Notification
What it does: Users have the choice to copy their own email address on the video mail, and to mark if they want read notification. If the user choose to be notified they will receive an email every time their video is viewed.

Feature: Send Confirmation
What it does: The user will receive a confirmation email every time they send a video mail.

Feature: Retraction Option
What it does: If the user decides to retract a video email after it has been sent, click on the delete link in the Send Confirmation email. This will immediately delete the video.
